OC-GREEN™ CAST IN-SITU AND PRECAST CONCRETE PRODUCTS:
The OC-Green™ MD medium weight concrete system produces cementatious products made out of readily available raw materials in the market place. The distinction of the concrete product comes from these factors:

The OC-Green™ MD technology produces structural load bearing walls and slab panels that are lighter than their regular concrete densities equivalent. The factory process can be modified to produce lower density mixes and thus opening up a world of possibilities for production of non structural building components. The targeted product density ranges from 1200 Kg/m3 up to 1,600 Kg/m3. This represents a weight savings of 30% to 50% of the comparable concrete precast panels.
OC-Green™ technologies are predominantly based on internationally renowned Building Codes and Standards. The system applications have wide acceptance in many jurisdictions regionally and globally. Furthermore, research and development trials have been done at international research and university labs to confirm the benefits and verify any areas of needed improvements of the OC-Green™ system. Research and development work is ongoing to further enhance the benefits and widen the applications of the technology. Design guidelines are available to licensees and or benefactors of the building system on an as deemed needed by the system developer.

OC-Green™ MD Technology Concrete System Advantages
1. Resilience to Cracking:
Large MD concrete blocks come in 500 MM lengths hence decreasing the number of vertical mortar joints and resulting in reducing cracking potential. Further, as MD blocks are predominantly cement and sand based, they behave the same as their regular concrete counter parts. As a result, adhesion of cementatious plasters is assured. Moreover, thinner plastering layers in magnitude of 100 to 150 MM are ample thus reducing labor and, material costs. Lower weight further leads to less lifting and handling effort.
2. Special thinner and stronger Plasters:
When using OC-Green™ Plaster mortar mixes in combination with MD concrete blocks, wire mesh is no longer needed as the two are made of parallel cementatious composition. In addition, OC-Green™ Plaster mortars contain superior bonding agents that dramatically reduce shrinkage cracks and improve adhesion to subsurface. They also eliminate water absorption due to their special patented ingredients.
3. Superior sound insulation:
Acoustic properties of OC-Green™ MD Concrete are superior compared to other concrete prefabricated panel materials.
4. Environmentally Green Products:
OC-GREEN™ produces Green Blocks. Systems is designed to eliminate Green house gases emissions during the manufacturing process. The system further conserves material usage by eliminating need for coarse gravel. Valuable top soil is also not depleted as in the case of clay bricks and thus leads to reduction in raw material usage.

6. Advanced fire rating:
OC-Green™ is rated between 4 to 5 hours. When exposed to fire, there no toxic emissions. The product reacts just like regular concrete.
7. Effortless use and handling MD products:
Depending on the density of MD Concrete products and extent of reinforcement use if any, MD blocks and non structural wall panels are a very versatile as they can be cut as needed, drilled, nailed with a firm nail grip, and cut manually with a carpenter saw. Weight reduction is in range of 20% to 40% for structural applications and 40% to 60% for non structural applications leading to substantial reduction of final building dead weights. They also make the building process faster due to less erection effort and reduced equipment sizes.
8. Faster is better and more economical:
when Quick turn-around production time is desired, OC-Green™ MD concrete products benefit from patented accelerators and environmentally friendly curing methods. OC-Green™ technology allows production time to be cut in half when compared with conventional precasting methods.
9. Water resistivity:
OC-Green™ MD concrete products are naturally water resistive due to their composition. The combined use of MD blocks with the OC-Green™ plaster yields marred improvement in water proof qualities over conventional block/plaster systems used in our regional markets.
10. Thermal insulation is excellent:
OC-Green™ MD concrete products 300% to 400% more insulating than regular concretes. This satisfies the thermal energy ratings required by most regional building codes. Also, the wall sections are no longer requires to be built out of two layers of block and a sandwich layer of EPS panel. This leads to meaningful reduction in material and labor costs. Improved thermal insulation further leads to meaningful decrease of burden on air conditioning systems during peak seasons. This leads to major drop in energy consumption. It also leads to reduced strain on HVAC equipment, resulting in less maintenance and replacement expense.
